Based in Dallas, Texas, Bruce D. Ladin currently manages Delos Shipping, an investment firm he co-founded along with Richard Squires. The firm focuses on investments within the shipping industry, working with clients such as Euroseas Ltd. (NASDAQ:ESEA) and providing equity and debt capital to shipping companies around the globe. Delos relies on in-house research and industry relationships to better advise investment strategies and devise good opportunities. Bruce D. Ladin and his company have successfully completed many transactions, including an acquisition of nine vessels through a joint venture with a European-based trading house.
Previously, Bruce D. Ladin served as a partner with a hedge fund based in Dallas where he managed approximately $600 million in investments within the shipping, media, and telecommunications industries as well as other direct investments. He also generated more than $100 million in profits through the partial acquisition and later public offering of Euroseas. Additionally, he acted as partner with Talisman Capital, where he discovered more than 70 direct investments in public and private companies across the United States, equaling $100 million in deployed capital.
Mr. Ladin holds a bachelor of arts in political economy from Tulane University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
